I am committed to working with women, mothers, children/teens and families who have experienced trauma and/or who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety and loss of hope. I use several healing modalities to get you back to a place of stability, safety and nourishment.
I know and believe that no matter what has happened in life, a human has the power to change what that experience means to them and thus change the experience, creating a healing of the mind-body- soul disconnect, both emotionally and physically. Therein lies healing.
I use the polyvagal theory to inform all of the following integrative mind, body, and spirit practices when working with clients:
-Internal Family Systems
- Therapeutic Life Story Work
-Attachment-Focused Family Therapy
- Inner-Child work
- Collaborative Problem Solving
- Somatic Healing, Mindfulness, Yoga
-Play-Based Therapy Techniques
-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
-Solutions Focused Therapy
-Gastro Psychology Hypnotherapy
- Adoptive and Foster Family Therapy (certified program from Portland State University).
The transition to motherhood is a profound journey, but it isn’t always filled with joy alone. Many new mothers feel overwhelmed, anxious, or isolated. At Wise Women Community Services, we bring counseling to you, in the comfort and privacy of your home.( no need to clean up, we meet you where you are at).
Our approach is rooted in the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, a gentle and effective form of therapy. This process allows you to access your own inner wisdom through managing your inner critic, respond effectively to your family's needs, and restore a sense of calm and balance from unburdening yourself of shame.
We offer compassionate counseling and social work services for elders and individuals facing the challenges of dementia. We provide support, guidance, and resources to enhance clients' and their families' well-being and quality of life.
We are committed to fostering dignity, independence, and well-being for those we serve.
Cognitive stimulation therapy (CST) is a non-pharmacological intervention aimed at improving cognitive function in individuals with mild to moderate dementia. It involves engaging participants in a variety of stimulating activities that challenge their memory, attention, language, and problem-solving skills.
I use a holistic model of counseling that strengthens the Mother-daughter relationship and helps heal and work through hardships in the relationship
This will not include any diagnosis, assessment or "traditional" counseling offerings.

This therapeutic birth story work is a rite of passage ceremony. It is intended to lead women to reclaim the medicine that they gift to the world. This session is 1 hour long and is often held within 2 to 3 sessions.
Clinical and somatic therapeutic interventions are used during this sensitive session. This is a time for the mother to feel safe and nourished.
The "ceremony" part of the session integrates the mother's senses and helps the mother to become present in the moment before she begins interpreting her experience and discussing the change that occurred to her whole being after the birth.
I invite you to embark on this healing as you feel called, even if the child's birth happened years ago or if the child did not make it to earth side. It is time to collectively reclaim our birth power.
This intimate group meets on the last Sunday of every month.
This meeting is for women who want to deep dive into self-compassion, ceremony, nature and the power to trust your own intuition this in turn helps women to overcome a current addiction of any type that is hindering your ability to be with presence.
Together, we will learn how to cultivate a deep practice with heart-centered presence to guide our healing. The meeting will start with a light yoga, meditation or ceremony followed by a brief reflection about the reading that we are learning from for the year, this years reading is "Mirrors in the Earth" by Asia Suler and an open discussion.
Its time to rise sister:)
Please email me if you would like to be added to the group
